Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA's)

Kimball Schools is committed to helping all students successfully succeed on the MCA's. When possible, testing is spread over multiple days to help students focus on one section at a time. Furthermore, students taking tests online are able to test in their classroom environment at the High School which minimizes disruptions from being in a computer lab environment.

We're in the Business of Academics @ KAHS!

Our first job is to provide students with the academic experience necessary to fulfill the Minnesota Graduation Requirements. Beyond that, Kimball Area High School seeks to engage students with rigorous coursework that stretches their mind, connects new learning to personal experiences, and develops the whole student.

Non-traditional Students Encouraged to Take Hands-on Classes

Homeschooled and students currently open-enrolling to neighboring districts have an opportunity to take several hands-on classes at Kimball Area High School during the school year. This is a great opportunity for students seeking instruction in a career field where learning from a textbook may not be the best way to learn the material. Several courses offer Articulated College Credit (ACC) which grants college credits to students earning proficiency in the course. These credits may be used at St. Cloud Technical and Community College or other 2-year colleges. Click HERE for course information.
