Applications are now available for the 2024-2025 Tri-CAP Energy Assistance Program.  Clients can either call our office and have one mailed, they can go to our agency website at www.tricap.org and download the application or apply using the on-line link:  mn.gov/home.

Applications are also available in our office or in a box outside the main office building.

The EAP  program only requires one month of income.  Clients should send proof of gross income received by all people in the household for the month prior to the date of their signature on the application.

Side Note: People can apply now for the program -we will process their application, but unfortunately, we do not have funding available to pay out any grants.   What this means then, is that we cannot do any guarantees to vendors on behalf of the client if they have a disconnect, shut off or need a delivery of fuel.  Once the funding is available, (usually sometime in mid-November) the client will receive their award letter letting them know the amount of their grant.
