Over 500 people came to watch the Kimball Area Theater program proudly present “The Music Man” on Nov. 15-17. Led by the fall musical director, Kenzie Traurig, the cast and crew members were made up of 56 Kimball Area students in grades 4-12.
A special thank you to the 11 seniors who participated in the fall musical. “These seniors have helped shape what our Kimball Area Theater program has become,” said Traurig. “They are some of the hardest working students I know and I am very grateful for their leadership and lasting impact they’ve had on the theater program.”
Kimball Area Theater seniors include: Taylor Libbesmeier, Jordyn Theis, Hunter Gebhardt, Todd Sipe, Maddy Groinus, Zach Kourima, Brooklyn Ochsendorf, Laney Laudenbach, Katie Zimmerman, Maleah Loch and Ellie Donnay.
“There are always so many memories made during this weekend,” stated Traurig. “The students get to show off their hard work to a very supportive community.”
Kimball Area Theater plans to perform CLUE for its Spring Dinner Theater in April. Those auditions are pending.
