
Congrats to the EV-W-K cross country teams that competed in the 2024 CMC Championships at Holdingford on Oct. 15. Senior standout Henry Lemke led all runners by crossing the finish line in 16:23 and securing the top individual award. The EV-W-K girl's team placed second overall behind St. John's Prep while the EV-W-K boy's team inked a 3rd place finish. The varsity cross country teams will now prepare for Sections at Detroit Lakes on Oct. 24. Congrats to all of the senior runners today who competed in their last conference race. #KimballProud

Kimball Area's Early Childhood program is kicking off the 2024-25 ECFE school year with a Fall Festival event tonight, Monday, Oct. 14, at the elementary school. All families in the district and local area with children ages 0-5 are welcome to join us for this free event tonight.
The Fall Festival will include an Open House for the new Early Childhood wing, food (hot dog with nachos and cookies), games and crafts, along with the Early Childhood Family Education kick-off event for the 2024-25 school year.
Guests should park in the south parking lot and enter the main entrance (door #1) at the elementary school.
ECFE classes will be held on Monday evenings and Tuesday mornings during the 2024-25 school year, starting the week of Oct. 21 and 22. Visit the ECFE webpage for full details.

The Kimball Area Fine Arts program is hosting a fundraiser tonight, Monday, Oct. 14, at the high school. The event will offer a meal at 6:00 pm in the Cafetorium, with an art show and a music concert at 7:00 pm in the North Gym. The music concert will feature the Kimball jazz band, varsity band and varsity choir. Meal tickets were presold for $10, due date was Oct. 7. If you are not interested in the meal and would just like to attend the concert, those $5 admission tickets will be for sale at the door tonight. There will also be a dessert donation table at the concert. All are welcome to grab a dessert and leave a donation on their way out of the concert. This is just another great way to support our Fine Arts kids and to have a sweet treat after the dinner and show! Over 30 Kimball youth football players in grades 5-6 showcased their skills at halftime of the Kimball varsity game on Oct. 11. The youth players witnessed an incredible come-from-behind victory as the Cubs defeated their rival, the EVW Eagles, by a score of 28-20 in front of a sellout crowd. Bringing home the Rooster Bowl trophy for the first time since 1999 was the perfect way to highlight Kimball’s Homecoming festivities. Way to go Cubs! #KimballCommunityEd #KimballProud

Tonight the Kimball Cubs will face off with the EVW Eagles for their Homecoming and Rooster Bowl night. Both teams are 6-0. Game starts at 7:00.
The Kimball Lions will be serving fish tacos by the library from 4:30-7:00.

Kimball Volleyball swept Holdingford in three straight sets on Oct. 10 in front of an electric Homecoming crowd. King Zach Kourima presented the game ball and the Kimball varsity pep band provided warm-up music. Way to go Cubs!
