Kimball Area's Enchanted Prom and Grand March was a success on April 27. #KimballProud











Kimball Area Early Childhood and Family Education program is hosting its Literacy Night on April 30 from 5:30-7:00 pm at the elementary school. All children ages birth-5 are welcome to attend. There will be games, stories, crafts and snacks available. There will also be gently used children's books available for sale. All proceeds will go towards the Kimball Area Early Childhood program. EV-W-K Youth Track & Field had a successful meet in Annandale on April 27. The program has two practices and two more meets remaining at Litchfield and Maple Lake this spring. #KimballCommunityEd

Varsity Softball had a HUGE win over Albany last night beating them 10-3. JV won 16-5 (Courtney Leither and Lili Krippner had back to back HR)! 7th grade had a win against EVW 11-6.
Varsity Baseball lost their double header to BBE 0-10, 1-11. JV Baseball beat BBE 9-3 & 5-2, JH Baseball wins over EVW- 8th Grade 5-3, and 7th grade 9-7.

Kimball Area Community Education's Babysitting 101 BLAST class that was scheduled for April 29 and 30 is canceled due to low enrollment. Our goal is to reschedule this class for a day in June. Contact the CE office with questions at 320-398-7700 X 1112. #KimballCommunityEd


What a beautiful day third grade had to spend at the Minnesota Zoo on Wednesday!

Kimball Area Play & Learn Preschool had a fun-filled morning at Wheel & Cog Children's Museum in Hutchinson on April 24! There were 3 rooms of interactive exhibits to explore and play in. The Tape Scape (a climber and slide made completely from tape) was the favorite exhibit. Preschoolers also enjoyed jumping on trampolines, dressing up in costumes, pretending to be auto-mechanics, and riding tricycles on a track. Thank you to our staff and parent volunteer chaperones who helped make the field trip a success. #KimballPreschool

Mike Frisch instructed a group of 12 youth in a School of Fish class on April 22 in Kimball. Thank you to the adults who volunteered at the class, helping students tie lures with their fishing line and much more. Each student left with an instruction booklet, fishing pole and a tackle box. A special thank you to Rob Kuechle from the Kimball Rod and Gun Club, Kimball Lions, Kimball Legion and Kimball Fire Department for their generous donations to keep the class fees at half price. A great time was had by all. #KimballCommunityEd






Kimball FFA members have had a busy day! They competed, attended workshops, and listened to sessions! Tonight we get to see our band and choir members recital and then top off the night by celebrating our state degree achievers!





Kimball Area Community Ed is hosting a "Mature Driving Classes" in person on April 23. The 4-hour refresher course through The Minnesota Safety Council will take place from 12:00-4:00 pm at the Kimball Elementary School (405 Hazel Ave E, Kimball, MN 55353). This course will qualify participants for a discount with most insurance companies, plus it will update participants on new laws and refresh you on driving rules. Congrats to Kimball’s junior varsity and C squad softball players who won the Monticello tourney on April 20 with big wins over Spring Lake (15-10) and Rogers (3-0). Abby Fischer led the way with two homeruns while Lilli Krippner and Brooke Pelzer each added long shots over the fence. Way to go Cubs! #KimballSoftball

Kimball's National Honor Society will be having a food drive on Saturday, Apr. 20. This food drive is a spring version of Student Government's Trick or Treat fundraiser. All donations will be going to the Kimball Food Shelf. Anyone who would like to donate and did not receive a bag can drop donations off at St. Anne's Church between 10:00a and 12:00p on the 20th. Thank you for any donations!
