
Due to poor road conditions, Kimball Area Public Schools will be opening 2 hours late today, Friday, March 22nd. Cubs Club will open at 8:30.

Due to the anticipated inclement weather rolling into Central Minnesota, the Kimball Recreation Volleyball playdate that was scheduled on March 21 for 5th and 6th graders is now POSTPONED to April 2. There will NOT be Rec Volleyball practice after school on March 21 either. The next scheduled practices will be next week on Tuesday and Thursday, March 26 and 28, after school from 3:15-4:45 pm at the elementary school. Go Cubs!

Congratulations to Jed Spaulding, he broke the Rebound record for a season. The old record was 314 held by Jarred Merchant in 2014-15 season. Jed's record was 339 for the 2023-24 season!

PBIS tickets are given to students who exhibit C.U.B.S. behavior (Courtesy, Unity, Being Responsible, Safety). Students who receive a ticket are drawn at random per grade level. Tickets are given out to celebrate kids who demonstrate positive behavior or improvements in behavior, and are meant to encourage others to do the same for a chance to win. Congrats to our Cubs this week!





Speech results from Monday, Mar. 18 @ EVW. Grace Garding placed 4th in informative speaking, Brooke Hinkemeyer and Maddie Lindberg placed 3rd for Duo interpretation. Congrats Speechers!


Under the direction of Ms. Wang, Ms. Miller and Mr. Lesnau, the Kimball Area Pastiche Show was a success on March 18. The evening highlighted an art show, the varsity choir, band and jazz band. #KimballFineArts

Kimball Christian Church will be hosting an Easter Egg-Stravaganza on March 23 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at their church (241 State Highway 55, Kimball, MN 55353). Festivities will begin in the sanctuary, including: Easter message, Easter Egg Hunt, inflatables, games and food. The Egg Hunt will start shortly after 10:00 am. All are welcome to this free event.

Congratulations to Kimball's middle school Team 739C, the Senior Smarties, who placed in the semi-finals at the 2024 Minnesota State Robotics Championships on Feb. 29-March 1. Team members Lucas Zimmerman, Troy Edwards and Nick Spoden worked hard and represented Kimball Robotics well at this year's Vex Robotics State Championships. Way to go Cubs! #KimballRobotics

Kimball Area Community Ed 5th and 6th grade volleyball players had a great first showing at the playdate in Paynesville on March 8. The Cubs have 25 players rostering 3 teams in the recreation league this spring. Way to go Cubs! #KimballVolleyball #KimballCommunityEd
