Kimball Robotics qualified for the world’s largest robotics competition and earned the privilege to send three teams to the 2023 World Championships in Dallas, Texas, this past month. The high school team 739B and the middle school team 739E competed at World’s between April 25-29. Kimball’s elementary IQ team 55353D competed at World’s from May 2-4. Another fun ag day at KES! Thanks to all of the high school students that came out to tell the students all about the various aspects of agriculture.
The 2023 Senior Scholarship Dessert Dash, held on May 3 at Kimball Area High School, was a success. This special event raised nearly $2,000 for next year's scholarship recipients. Thank you to the Senior Scholarship committee who awarded $28,700 to this year's graduating class!!! Thank you also to all of our community donors. The Maine Prairie Theatre Company, acting through Kimball Area Community Education, is excited to announce this summer’s community musical: The Addam’s Family: A New Musical Comedy! Auditions will be held on May 15 and 16 from 3:30-7:00 pm at Kimball Area High School (Gr. 3+). Call-backs will take place on May 17 from 5:00-7:00 pm. KAHS Spring Concert/Art Show
The Kimball Fine Arts Department invites you to join us for the 2023 High School Spring Concert and Art Show! The concert will be in the Wirth Gym at Kimball Area High School on May 8th starting at 6:30 pm. The Art Show will be in the Foyer outside of the gym starting at 5:30 pm. The concert will feature Band and Choir students in grades 6-12. During the concert, the Fine Arts Boosters will also be holding a 50/50 raffle to support the Fine Arts Programming in Kimball. We will also be accepting free will donations at the door.
Congratulations to Clay Faber, he hit 2 home runs (yes 2!) at yesterday's Baseball game against Royalton. Cubs lost 6-11.
