Kimball rostered two high school softball teams in the 2024 Waite Park Summer Classic on June 14-16. The Cubs had a great run in the tournament, meeting in the Championship tilt. Way to go Cubs! #KimballSoftball

Kimball Area senior golfer Avery Maus had a stellar showing at her second-straight State Tournament on June 11-12 in Jordan, MN. Maus shot a two-day total of 131 (90/41) in 27 holes, tying her for 38th place out of the 88 golfers who participated in the 2024 Class AA Girl's Golf State Tournament. Maus finished her high school career strong, shooting an even Par over her last 5 holes! Congratulations Avery on an incredible high school career! #KimballProud #KimballGolf

A friendly reminder that T-ball, Rookie Softball and Rookie Baseball begin tomorrow on June 11 in Kimball. T-ball is scheduled from 5:30-6:15 pm on the varsity softball field #6 just south of the high school. Rookie Softball will follow in field #6 from 6:30-7:30 pm. Rookie Baseball is set for 6:30-7:30 pm on field #4, just west of the track by the batting cages. Please send a glove, water bottle and any other equipment you have with your child to their first practice. We are looking forward to having some fun on the fields this summer! #KimballCommunityEd

Congratulations to the EV-W-K Track and Field athletes who participated at the 2024 Class A State Championships on June 6-7 at St. Michael-Albertville. The girl's team earned 2nd place overall, falling just one point shy of the team championship. Way to go! Congrats also to the EV-W-K girl's 4x400 relay team that came from behind in the last 100 meters to win the State Title! Due to inclement weather, the youth baseball and softball games in Kimball tonight, June 5, are canceled. Team coaches will notify players of potential make-up dates.

The Babysitting 101 BLAST class through Kimball Area Community Education is a GO for tomorrow, June 5, from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, at the Kimball Area High School. Park in the south lot and drop-off and pick-up at Door #6. Students need to bring a writing utensil, cold lunch, snack(s) & beverage/water bottle.
