Congratulations to the award winners from the 2024 Kimball Cubs volleyball season. The squad rostered 12 varsity letterwinners, 18 All-CMC Academic winners (3.75 GPA +), 23 Spotlight Scholarship award winners (3.0 GPA+) and six All-State Academic winners (3.8 GPA+). Congrats to Jocelyn Zoller who was voted the team's MVP. Zoe Stuve earned the Team Player award, while Lexi Schindele was voted the team's Most Improved Player. Ellie Becker and Mazie Jurek shared the Ms. Hustle award. The Cubs also earned the MSHSL Gold Academic Award, which requires a team's combined 3.8 GPA for players in 10th-12th grade. Hank has been selected to the 2024 Minnesota State Vikings All State Academic Team for 2A. Hank will be honored at halftime of the Vikings game on Dec. 8. Hank also has been selected to the Vikings All State Team for athletics.

On top of that, Hank has been selected as a Top Ten finalist for the Mr. Football Award.
Mr. Football is sponsored by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association and the Minnesota Vikings. The Mr. Football award will be presented on Dec. 15. (First in Kimball's history as a finalist)!
And Lastly, Hank has also broken the Kimball High School Career Tackle record with 295 (previously held by Andy Becker with 280).

An amazing Football Season has come to an end at the Semifinals in the State Tournament. The Cubs lost a very tough match to Jackson County Central 26-34. But these boys need to hold their heads high, they played a great game. 2024 has been such an amazing ride with so many accomplishments that we haven't achieved in many, many years... we are 2024 Rooster Bowl Champions, District Champions, Section Champions, Semifinals in State Finalist, and hold an amazing 11-1 record.
This also is also a bittersweet ending for 10 seniors and senior families. You will be missed, but now you will be forever part of Kimball's History and this town is so proud of you and your teammates!!
