Kimball Jr. Cubs Basketball players in grades K-1 showcased their skills on Feb. 28 in the Wirth Gym. Head coaches Jay Klein and Jeremy Kuechle, along with their varsity players, coached over 60 youth players in grades K-5 this winter. #KimballHoops #KimballCommunityEd
Kimball Area Youth Wrestlers competed in the Northland Youth Wrestling Association's Gr. 7-8 Team Regions in Region 4 on March 12 at Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School. Kimball had 10 wrestlers in 6th-8th grade compete for the team event. Team coaches are Payton Hanan and Kyle Siebert. Unfortunately, the Cubs fell to Paynesville and Long Prairie-Grey Eagle-Browerville to end their team competition. Region competition for individuals will be held on March 24-25. Jaycee's State is held on March 26 in Albany. Northland Youth Wrestling Association State is held March 30-April 2. Due to incoming inclement weather, Kimball Area Public Schools will be closing at 12:00 pm today, Thursday, March 16th. Cubs Club will remain open until 1:00 pm. All afternoon and evening activities are cancelled.

The cast and crew of the Kimball One Act Play celebrated their season's accomplishments on March 13. Highlights of the winter were a 2nd place finish at the 2023 South Sub-Section 5A competition and an appearance at the Section 5A finals at SCSU. Way to go Cubs! #KimballTheatre #KimballProud

Congrats to the Kimball Vex IQ Robotics program that sent all four of its teams in grades 5-6 to the 2023 State Championships on March 4 in St. Cloud. Team 55353D "roBots" finished tied for 4th in the elementary division and also earned the “Energy” Award. Team 55353C "Vexcellent" had an outstanding day in the MS division, placing 4th overall. Team 55353B "Red Roly Polys" finished 9th overall while Team 55353A "Stitch" finished the season strong in 48th place. Way to go Cubs! #KimballRobotics
