A friendly reminder that T-ball, Rookie Softball and Rookie Baseball begin tomorrow on June 11 in Kimball. T-ball is scheduled from 5:30-6:15 pm on the varsity softball field #6 just south of the high school. Rookie Softball will follow in field #6 from 6:30-7:30 pm. Rookie Baseball is set for 6:30-7:30 pm on field #4, just west of the track by the batting cages. Please send a glove, water bottle and any other equipment you have with your child to their first practice. We are looking forward to having some fun on the fields this summer! #KimballCommunityEd

Congratulations to the EV-W-K Track and Field athletes who participated at the 2024 Class A State Championships on June 6-7 at St. Michael-Albertville. The girl's team earned 2nd place overall, falling just one point shy of the team championship. Way to go! Congrats also to the EV-W-K girl's 4x400 relay team that came from behind in the last 100 meters to win the State Title! Alayna Haag, Jocelyn Zoller, Brookelyn Kuechle and Hope Kuechle are 2024 State Champions!!! Due to inclement weather, the youth baseball and softball games in Kimball tonight, June 5, are canceled. Team coaches will notify players of potential make-up dates.

The Babysitting 101 BLAST class through Kimball Area Community Education is a GO for tomorrow, June 5, from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, at the Kimball Area High School. Park in the south lot and drop-off and pick-up at Door #6. Students need to bring a writing utensil, cold lunch, snack(s) & beverage/water bottle. Congrats to the Kimball varsity softball team that made a valiant effort in the playoffs, falling just one game shy of the State Tournament. The Cubs lost a heartbreaker to Cathedral by a score of 2-3 in the Section 6AA Championship game on May 30. Led by head coach Emily Greniger, Kimball posted a 23-3 overall record this season, setting a new school record for most wins in a season. Way to go Cubs! #KimballProud #KimballSoftball

Congratulations to senior golfer Avery Maus who finished second overall at the Section 3AA meet, shooting a 78/84 split in the two-day event. Maus's runner-up honors stamp her ticket to the Minnesota Class AA State Championships on June 11-12 in Jordan. #KimballProud

No. 2 -ranked Kimball varsity softball advanced to the Section 6AA Finals with a convincing 13-4 victory over Pierz on May 29 in the semi-final round. The Cubs will now face No. 1-ranked Cathedral on May 30. Games are scheduled for 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Miller Builder's Field at River's Edge Park in Waite Park. Admission is at the gate or online. Cubs fans are asked to wear BLACK at the Championship games tomorrow.
